Questions
Is this before or after tax?
Before. Tax depends on where you live, your filing status and your deductions, so a single figure would be misleading.
Why does it ask about unpaid weeks?
If you take four unpaid weeks, your salary is spread over 48 working weeks, not 52 — which raises your true hourly rate.
What about 50 hours a week?
Type it in. That's the point — a £60,000 job at 50 hours pays a lot less per hour than the same salary at 37.
